Listen to a story bout a veggie named Cuke 
A real garden gem, he was surely not a fluke 
And then one day he was sittin' in the yard 
When he was quickly picked cause he was very hard 

Firm that is, rock solid, real stout 

The man Eric Nelson took him to his place of work 
To find for him a home and provide for them a perk 
But no one in this place would accept him for his own 
Cause alas it seemed old Cuke, that he was overgrown 

Huge that is, oversized, too big 

He passed through many hands so many days ago 
For no one cared for him and no place he had to go 
And then one day as Cuke was so forlorn 
An idea came to Ken and the C award was born 

C squared that is, congratulatory, cucumber 

Now Cuke is very happy and he is quite a veg 
And everyone is careful no to set him near a ledge 
And most every week he is passed from hand to hand 
As one of the most coveted awards in all the land 

USA that is, Rockwell Collins, SATCOM software. 

Now Cuke is quite a pickle and he's got a thing or two 
A strap, a knife, a bill, a badge , and other quite a few 
And if you are a yellow fruit to you we say beware 
Cause Cuke will rip you up to shreds and will not even care 

Peeled that is, banana bread, creamed pie 

Cuke has been on travel and he has gone quite far 
He went with Rick to Florida and hung out in a bar 
But if you care to ask him of his favorite place to be 
It is at Rockwell Collins with the SATCOM company 

Software that is, cliff jumpers, dance band stars 

The life of this old cucumber it really seems quite long 
Adventures there were many not contained within this song 
But if you were to ask him, I am sure that he would say 
That he is ever thankful he was not on someone's tray.
